Adjetivos Interrogativos

¿Cuáles son los adjetivos interrogativos? Son: whose, what, which, where, why y how. Los adjetivos interrogativos modifican los nombres y los usamos para hacer preguntas. Es decir, usamos los adjetivos interrogativos para interrogar, es decir, hacer preguntas acerca de alguien o algo.

What: pregunta para pedir información general

• What is your name?
• What school do you go to?

Whose: indica posesión

• Whose bag is that sitting in the corridor?
• I don’t know whose friend is sitting outside?

Which: se usa para especificar

• Which pen would you prefer, the blue or the red one?
• Which is the smallest country in the world?
• Which option works best for you?

Where: se usa para indicar dirección

• Where do you go to college?
• Where is James? I haven’t seen him all day.
• Where does Anne live?

Why: pregunta general que busca una explicación

• Why don’t cats and dogs always get along?
• Why are you acting this way?
• Why is Peter coming so early?

How: busca la manera en cuanto a cómo algo fue hecho
